"Great location with amazing views. Has everything you may need for a multi day stay. Tons of appliances, utensils, spices, etc. 20 minutes to whiteface mountain which was perfect. The garage is awesome to get your car and boards out of the weather. Highly recommend this place. "

"A adorable, cozy cottage perfect for a quiet get away. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk into town with great views of the lake. Lots of hiking and outdoor activities within a short drive. "

"We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!"

"What an amazing place to stay! We’ve stayed in many rental homes and this is one of the best! My husband and I traveled with 2 teenagers, 2 grandparents, and a large dog. This one floor home was easy to navigate for the grandparents and had fun loft spaces for the teens to retreat to. 10 minutes to Whiteface mountain and easy to find. "We had a wonderful stay at Skylight. While it was snowing pretty steadily when we arrived, the walkway was shoveled and we had immediate contact from Jason to help us park in the right place since the snowbanks hid all the signs! The cabin was perfect for us and our two boys, ages 4 and 7. We all cuddled in the loft for a movie on the “magic tv” Saturday night after watching the Winter Carnival fireworks from the dock (it was too cold to haul the boys into town). "The house is perfect for 10-12 people and has a lot of space for everyone to hangout. Location is great, it is a quiet area and about 15-20 minutes from whiteface mountain for those who love to ski and snowboard. If you need a place for a few friends or family, I 100% recommend this place!!!"

"Very cozy cabin. Bathroom perhaps a bit TOO cozy. Which means it was lovely, but very small. Many stubbed toes on the shower lip, but I concede that not much could be done about that. There were a few cobwebs in the rafters, some sawdust on the top of the bathroom mirror, but overall lovely. "

"We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun."

"We were very happy with our stay! The property/home is exactly as described...beautiful. It was clean and very well appointed. The yard was nicely nestled in a large treed yard. The view from the hot tub was fantastic! Our hosts ver very communicative and friendly.The only criticism I can offer is that there was no clear direction with regard to recycling. "We stayed here for several days on a ski trip to Whiteface. The kids decided this was the best rental property they had ever stayed in! The house is comfortable, beautifully maintained and well appointed, with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain from the porch and front yard. Host was very communicative and responsive. "We had a great stay in early March. Access to Lake Placid is quick and easy, but most essentials (food, fuel, etc) are right nearby. The cottage had everything we needed in terms of space and accessories. Rustic overall, but the bathroom is fresh and modern. The gas fireplace keeps the living room warm and inviting. The kitchen is small but functional with a nice large sink. The main bedroom (we didn’t use the second) is very comfortable.Yes, the hot tub can be partly seen from the street, but...
