"The hotel is very convenient for the historic centre of Palermo also an easy walk to Centrale rail station (we went on to Rome by train after our stay). Room was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was enjoyable but slightly disorganised (had run out of knives at one point on both mornings and plates on one) but the setting, a room clearly part of the old palace with a high arched ceiling, also good coffee individually made, more than made up. "I would not recommend staying here, our power went out the first night we were staying here and it was impossible to get in touch with anyone who worked there to let them know. Our phones were almost dead and we had no way to charge them because of the power outage. While the place was near everything which was nice, we did not feel the safest walking back to the area of the B&B late at night. "
