The only note I have is that it’s not super clear which front entrance is which (the home is split in to 2 rentals), so we almost walked in to the wrong home. "Stayed over for 2 nights here, while attending a large family and community event re my brother who died in April. We were very comfortable here, and the cottage is very attractive, obviously historic. It was super-well equipped with everything you'd need. Easy access from the road, close to the Kohukohu village, and a clear view across the harbour in front. Thankyou for having us, we'd come again if the need or opportunity arose. "

"This property managed to accomodate a large group of adults with a mix of couples and singles. The location was great and the property did mostly deliver. I think a bit more thought to the number of towels provided for a week of stay plus a more well equipped kitchen could have warranted a gold star rating. "

"This is a great spot. It's about 5 minutes from the Opua Ferry and less than 10 from Russell. It's super remote and quiet. Taking our suburban kids (9 and 4) was fantastic. There is a little boat shed at the bottom of the hill and access to a beach which my older kid loved exploring. The beach itself is quite rocky and full of oyster shells so not recommended for swimming but Long Beach near Russell is amazing and only a short drive away. The house itself is clean, tidy and well loved. ...

"The farm is awesome, our 8 year old granddaughter Isla became the “ farm girl” for the week and helping Andrea and John feed the pigs, sheep and ducks was the absolute highlight for her. Andrea and John were so patient with her. The environment is so quiet and the bus is centrally located to Paihia and Kerikeri"
