"Stayed over for 2 nights here, while attending a large family and community event re my brother who died in April. We were very comfortable here, and the cottage is very attractive, obviously historic. It was super-well equipped with everything you'd need. Easy access from the road, close to the Kohukohu village, and a clear view across the harbour in front. Thankyou for having us, we'd come again if the need or opportunity arose. "

"Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Communication was superb and when we forgot towels (!) we were incredibly kindly catered for. House was perfect for us. Lots of space. Blackboard and kids toys provided hours of fun. Deck was lovely and cat a delight. We hope to be back. Thank you "

"What a delight to spend 2 nights in Evi the school bus. Great location (only 10 minutes drive from KeriKeri), peaceful surroundings, friendly hosts. We really enjoyed the experience. Thank you."

"absolutely stunning property - every one love the facilities - I felt like checking in was more difficult and complex that it needed to be - charged extra for kids to sleep on top bunks - had to send back and additional signed form over and above the usual booking process that I have done many times through book a batch. But great location, handy to Opononi."

"Great location from which to explore the Hokianga and further afield. The house is very well equipped and the beds are super comfy. Shannon is a pleasure to deal with and responded promptly when we had a challenge. We would certainly stay here again if we visited the Hokianga again to finish exploring the area."

"A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail."

"Fantastic cottage with everything we needed, including some games and story books for the kids. Room to kick a ball around, chickens to visit and dogs to play fetch with. Happy memories. We look forward to coming back again one day."
