"Very nice place "

"We found The Big Island Rereat to be just as good as the pictures! It was easy to find right off Ali'i drive. Check in and out were both very easy. We stayed in the Ocean View room which was just as advertised. There is no AC which is in the room description so there was no surprise. Ceiling fan and to other larger standing fans kept the air moving through the room. There is a common area which has beach chairs to use and some snorkel gear and boogie boards as well and an outdoor kitchen with 2 BBQs and full sized fridge for anyone there can use The only challenge on the property was the parking. There is enough parking for the rooms, it's just a little tight especially if you wnat to back-in. I would suggest Not renting a large SUV. Overall the facility worked out perfecly for our vacation."

"Great location. Close to town, stores and easy walk to the beach. The residence is beautiful and the house and kitchen are well stocked with everything you’ll need to enjoy your time on the island. Located on a main road through town so traffic noise can be loud and steady at times. Driveway can be difficult to see at night. Reflector at the entrance of the drive would remedy that. Communication with the owner was great. Overall a great place to stay. "

"A gorgeous house that accommodated 8 adults, located close to the water and fairly close to the beaches. Very convenient to have 3 bathrooms. We absolutely loved that the kitchen was fully stocked and had lots of dishes to use, as we cooked for most of our meals. The pool was very relaxing after a day of exploring the island. Host was very responsive and communicated well. Would highly recommend! "

"It was great! The only thing bad in the house is a step inside the front door that wasn’t marked and looked just like the floor! My wife and I both tripped on it twice than I took the rug out of the downstairs bathroom and marked it with that. Other wise the place was perfect. "

"Prepare for breathtaking views from the Lanai (back covered porch) the reason for four Stars in Location was because there are no hiking trails and grocery stores near the property without a vehicle. Large grocery store chains are about 10-20 minutes drive. The pool is amazing, heated Jacuzzi is a total wow. BBQ grill, and French press as well as regular coffee maker.
