"1 block to ocean, very clean and cute and quiet. On Ali i drive, so easy to get into Kona. Microwave and fridge. Open air through screens so bird noise in the morning gets you up, but at a reasonable hour. And you want to get going anyway. Would stay here again. Good value "

"Great stay, great location, and quiet neighborhood. The property has everything one needs. My only suggestion would be to put black out curtains on the east side of the bedroom, including the top windows, since the sun rises early."

"The location was great, the unit is great size and accommodated our family of 6 nicely. The view straight off the lanai is great and saw beautiful sunsets every night. Honestly, never even turned on the tv once. The kitchen was supplied well enough and the grilling area was always with friendly travellers. Great stay and will consider again if going back to Kona. "Overall, our trip was relaxing. The facility was constructed in 1966. The disappointing aspect of our stay was the ongoing renovation of the property, and no mention of it taking place. Construction had the parking lot divided, and the sound of jackhammers and other concrete machinery reverberating through the cinderblock and concrete building was very annoying. We could not enter the pool from the front entry and had to walk around to a side gate. A main reason we selected the property was BECAUSE of the pool area pictures. The scaffolding was directly into the pool area, and the pool lounge chairs were pushed to the edge of the pavement. We did not use the pool or BBQ the area was congested or otherwise cordoned off. We would love to return to the unit and recommend it WHEN the construction is completed. "

"Ideally located between Kona and Keahou, with easy walking to both Magic Sands and Kahalulu beaches. Room is traditional style (screened) studio and very comfortable. Various water gear, coolers, chairs, boogie boards, wetsuits available to borrow. Overall, great value! "
