"We chose this property based on reviews, affordability and lovely decor! I am so glad we did. There are many perks to staying here..it may seem remote at first, but it is conveniently located to both sides of the island for day trips. Also, you have all you need in this home for cooking meals. The space is appointed wonderfully with seating and places to relax inside/outside. It is so lovely here. We happen to meet our host a few days in..and wish we met her sooner! I mean..this home is a little piece of heaven. You won't be disappointed. "

"We loved our time at this amazing house. Bright, super clean and well appointed! Very modern yet comfortable and spacious. On the road to South Point and the green sand beach which were both spectacular! Host was very gracious and quick to respond. Thanks for a great place to relax each evening!"

"Very quiet location the host was very flexible and responsive. There is no kitchen but bbq has a burner on the side. And the yurt came with all the pots and pans you would need. The yurt it self if very spacious the sky light offers great star gazing from your bed and nice natural light in the day. It is not to far of a drive from amazing attraction like black sand beach and volcano national park. I especially loved the dogs and the cats roaming the property. Wonderful glamping 10/10"

"When we booked at Kuleana Ranch, little did we realize that in addition to the compact cottage, we would get the huge property around the cottage for ourselves. Our mistake in staying for only two nights; we strongly recommend that future visitors should stay in this place for a minimum of three nights. There is also a large swimming pool all to yourself. Beautiful surroundings makes it imperative that you have your morning coffee in the verandah looking at the lush greenery and listening to birds. Vickie and Wesley were just a message away for any requirements. All amenities and supplies were adequate and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This cottage runs completely on Solar Power making it such an environment friendly place. We do have just one recommendation if at all possible - Place theee or four solar lamps marking the pathway to the cottage. This so because our flight got delayed by five hours and we arrived past 10 pm and it was pitch dark. However, it was a nice adventure to the beginning of our Hawaii Trip. "What a delightful find for our family of 8! Lots of room for everyone to spread out and relax between the 2 yurts. Beds and furniture were comfy, the interior lighting (esp around the inside top edge of the yurt) gave a cozy feel, and everything was spic and span clean. The deck with picnic table and shade umbrella would have been the idyllic place for us to gather while grilling and enjoying the amazing view and sweet breezes -- if we only would have had just one more night! "One of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island was our stay in Naalehu. The house is just fantastic, with 3 good-sized bedrooms and two beautifully appointed bathrooms. The open plan sitting area and kitchen was such a welcoming space compared to most hotels. The decks offer great ocean views. A perfect spot for access to black, green, and white sand beaches at the southernmost point in the United States. "
