"Even before our arrival, I had good feelings about this stay. Not just from the pictures, but from the interactions with Keith before we got there! Unbelievably gracious, kind, and connected to his guests! We celebrated a big birthday and treated ourselves to an unfamiliar holiday. The place was fantastic, and if there was a need, he or the staff at the Palms acted to resolve it! The concierge team was fantastic, the outdoor kitchen was perfect, and the pool was amazing! We opted to use the shuttle service to get to and from the VRBO which I would recommend as we arrived shortly after 6pm and it was pitch dark. "10 of us stayed at this beautiful property for a 40th birthday celebration, it was perfect! The house and view are even more gorgeous in person, it's called Sunset Villa for a reason!!! Checking in was a breeze, Yesenia was fabulous and we had no trouble communicating via Google Translate. Highly recommend renting a golf cart for convenient travel to the beach and around Playa Flamingo, although the stairs provided a great little work out! We rented vehicles as well so day tripping to Tamarindo...

"Our family of 8 with age ranges enjoy our stay very much! You are able to walk to shops, restaurants, ATV, surf lessons, catamaran etc within 1 mile. There is one main spacious house and two smaller apartments, but it has a common pool area. There was an iguana that greeted us! Would stay again. Thanks!"

"This is a great rental property! The villa complex is super nice and has a great pool. This villa has everything you need - fully stocked kitchen (pans, plates, etc) plenty of bathrooms towels, beach towels, boogie board, sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrella. You’ll get sandy and muddy, but there is an outdoor shower. The property manager Sonia is a great help with the villa and booking tours, and Jorge took care of any issues we had with the villa. I would book this place again."

"The pictures on line are older, and do not reflect present conditions. We enjoyed our stay, great location. BUT, the place badly needs to be updated and is not well maintained. Just a lot of little things. The biggest problem was that the host was not truthful when asked about the hot tub. I specifically asked if it was working (because of earlier reviews) and was told it was working, it was not, probably has not worked in awhile, the pump motor is buried in sand.
