"Before you walk through the gates, you’ll be wondering if this is one of the bad hostel’s on your trip… but as soon as you check in and meet pepe, you’ll quickly feel like home. There’s a lot of space, the rooms are clean, the kitchen doesn’t really need anything and, best of all, you’ll become friends woth Pepe and his wonderful dog It’s too far away from the beach to walk but you can easily get a collectivo and isn’t very much."

"Feel free to find my Google review but long story short: one star for service. I complained after two nights bc the last night there were like ten ants in the bathroom that I had to kill, a spider on the wall, and tons of mosquitos (the mosquitos were expected) but the ants and other microscopic bugs were in the bed. "Its a loveysetup😎 Super nice guys at dezk. Helpful. Lovely spot, quiet but can walk down beach or road to bars and restaurants. Downside is the no screens! And plenty ants and mosquitos. Nothing scree s wouldnt take are of. And ants everywhdre. Just put slme amdro around and tbdyd be gone too. Nice bunks in dorm but you couldd not open the windos for view because of no screens. Air conditioni g lovely. Breakfast nice! "

"When I arrived, the owner of the property told me he wanted me to cancel my expedia booking and pay him cash because "he couldnt recieve the funds I paid through expedia". "We had a great time at Casa Juliana with our family party of 9. It is a quick walk to Playa Junquillal, which is a stunning beach. We enjoyed the pool and screened in porch. It is very private, but there are great restaurants very close to the house. I would note that the upstairs loft bedroom is beautiful, with the attached living area, but it may not be appropriate for kids or folks with concerns about mobility. Very enjoyable, excellent location

"The hotel is affordable, comfortable and in a prime location in Tamarindo. You can walk to the beach and all of the shops and restaurants in the area within minutes. This isn’t a resort, but has everything you need if you enjoy spending the majority of your time enjoying the beach, town, culture, and being more independent than a resort setting. The pool is a very nice spot to come back to and is a lovely setting, also has an outdoor cooking area if you want to prepare some of your own meals. They will also help you book tours/experiences as well if you aren’t as independent when traveling internationally. Staff were very kind and felt like good friends by the time we left!"

"We had the 2 room poolside apartment, it was very nice and clean. The included breakfast in the morning was amazing, probably the best included breakfast of anywhere I have ever stayed. The hotel is right outside from the supermarket which was awesome and super close to the center of Tamarindo. 10/10, we will be back!"

The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa

"I loved this resort! 1. The food was great for resort food 2. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. 3. We always felt safe even at night 4. The resort was full of monkeys, iguanas, macaws, birds 5. Lots of entertainment for kids The only downside was the beach. Don’t go here For the beach. It’s pretty and the view is great but the locals bug you to get massages as soon as you step foot on the sand and the current is strong I would go back and recommend this place every time. "

"Lovely facility and grounds. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Two pool areas; one just off the hotel lobby and one down by the beach. Bars and food service provided at both pools. Beautiful beach area with chairs and umbrellas available. Located on gated secure grounds. Lap of luxury! "
