"Firstly, ignore the map. The camp is 30 mins away by by boat on a side river off the Amazon surrounded by forest. Absolutely perfect location. Also the price includes various excursions depending on how long you stay including dolphin watching, rainforest walks - but not Iquitos. No shop, take everything you need. Camp is basic but food and staff are great. Noone speaks English at camp, if you don't, take a phrase book. We stayed 3 memorable days. Do the nighttime walk!"

"We booked this lodge because it had a unique option to just book a room, and individually choose which activities/excursions you want to participate and pay for. Most places I found in the Amazon required to buy packages with an itinerary. However, when we arrived the first thing they did was try to sell us a packaged tour. "My wife and I had an amazing time. We really loved it! Sandra and her team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We were fed well and the food was amazing! They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. "We had a great time at the lodge! Many activities such as fishing, visiting an island of monkeys, and seeing a lot of wild animals. Given the fact that there is little or no electricity, we were able to disconnect ourselves for a few days in order to really relax. The rooms are very charming and the staff was great to answer questions and concerns. Our guide Manuel was great!! Very recomendable because he really knew his way along the jungle and never made us feel anything less than spectacular....
