"We had an unexpected change to our travel itinerary and we're really grateful the Hotel Villa Mayor had availability. We had a double room (2 twin beds). The location is unbeatable. It's right on the main square. No hoofing it up a hill to get to your room. It was a nice small, clean room with an incredible location. The only downside was the noise level. "This place is unreal! We booked for 2 nights in the lead up to a hike and was so pleasantly surprised by the guest house. The rooms are dated but clean and have everything you need. Breakfast included was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace to enjoy our morning coffee. Location is also great, so close to many great cafes and restaurants short walk to the main square. "We stayed for 2 nights our bed was comfortable, room was cleaned both days, the staff was exceptionally welcoming . Marelis she really cares about her guests and she was so kind to help us on any request. The terrace for breadkfast is nice and the food is eggs , fruit , bread , coffee and juice. I recommend this property. "

"Son una ESTAFA , cuando llegamos al lugar supuestamente ellos ya no eran los dueños y no eran los dueños , pero lo más que hablamos con ellos nos dimos cuenta que si lo eran y que estaban encargados de la propiedad y que solo decidieron darle a nuestra habitación a otras personas . Si no fue que expedía nos da la opción de pagar en el lugar hubiéramos pagado dos veces . Tenga cuidado antes de hacer una reservación con este lugar en específico."

"This was a beautiful apartment very close to the lima airport. Unfortunately there is no fridge or kitchen, but still a great place to stay for a night or two! They arranged my pick up and drop off and beautiful & friendly Mary was at the front to greet me when i arrived and send me on my way the next day. I'll be sure to recommend this place to others and visit again on my next trip :)"

"Augustin was AMAZING. We arrived late due to a medical emergency, and he was there to greet us and open the gate for us on arrival. There is no parking on site, and the parking nearby was closed when we arrived, so Augustin hopped in the car and helped us with the parking! "This place has a lot of potential but it's lacking in many areas. I give it 2.5 out 5 stars but with some easy fixes it could be 4 or 5 star stay. The property is beautiful with flowers, trees, grass and cacti, the view is great overlooking the sea and pool, the service provided by the family that lives on site is great, nice breakfast, but overall comfort is lacking. "Room was very tastefully set up with local decor. There was attention to detail. Setting was very relaxing, with an internal lounge and a garden. We had a nice pizza for dinner. Breakfast was abundant and tasty: eggs, cereal, warm home made bread, papaya juice, etc. Service was very kind and speedy. Overall, very much above Peruvian standard (within this price range)"
