"Honestly I cannot even remember how it was lol becos it was just nothing special. Good location. I think the best thing about choosing this hotel is the location where it’s in Gion and is super close to the Kiyomizu-dera area. You don’t have to be squeezed onto the bus getting to these tourist spots which is the BEST point, everyone should book a hotel in Gion for at least one night but not necessarily have to be this hotel LOL Price. I booked at a very high price with nothing included...

Can’t decide if the decor is stuck in the 1980s or if this is just Japanese taste. We had one of the fancy rooms with a private lounge and a private bath tub (could fit 2 small people) overlooking the mountain and lake. This was lovely.
