"I’ve stayed at this lodge twice, once in 2020 and now again in 2024. As someone who works for a 4-diamond hotel in downtown Chicago for the past 10 years, I’d like to offer my honest opinion. For what the property is both inside and out it’s a solid stay. The rooms are consistently clean, and I’ve never encountered any issues like trash etc... While the property might be a bit outdated, it’s important to keep in mind that you’re not staying in a high-rise hotel in Chicago or New York. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the parking is very convenient. The location, just off the expressway, is also ideal for easy access. I’d recommend this lodge to anyone, and I’ll definitely stay again in the future. A big thank you to the staff for making each stay pleasant. "

"This is such a beautiful and unique hotel experience. Renovated recently and still looks fresh. Staff were nice and the room was gorgeous and spacious. Highly recommend this hotel and visit the ghost room. We were going to learn to make pasta and felt safe walking 0.9 miles to the cooking venue. "

"It took a moment to figure out the Parking Garage. The "walkable" sign entrance says Pinnacle although it goes By Citi Parking. The room was set at 64 degrees I think. Much too cold for us and with very high ceilings it took hours to warm up. The staff came to set out thermostat and later brought us a space heater. Very appreciated. We loved the space, the kitchen and the Peets coffee for the coffeemaker. In all very helpful for our stay."
