"Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and a beautiful fruit tray in the library as the innkeeper graciously checked us in and gave us many dining and activities suggestions. Later on during our stay, we met more guests over a complimentary glass of wine and cheese / fruit tray to share our experiences in the area around the fireplace in the library. Although the hotel is under going renovations which the hotel owner informed me of prior to our stay, it was a very good experience. The workmen started early but kept noise and any disturbances to guests to a minimum. ( The innkeeper was quick to resolve an issue I had with our room as a result of the construction. Your comfort is their top priority). All guests were offered a complimentary breakfast at their sister inn, “Christmas Farm Inn and Spa” which was generous and order off the menu meal. Also, guests of the Inn at Thornhill are welcomed to use the indoor pool and exercise facilities at Christmas Farm Inn and Spa . (Not sure, if this will continue after the construction however.) I did partake in a relaxing massage there after skiing which was delightful.) I will come again and am very anxious to see the beautiful renovations to the bar and restaurant that are almost complete at the Inn at Thornhill on my next visit. "

"We had a wonderful time during our weekend ski trip. The location was fantastic—peaceful and quiet—and the included breakfast was a great convenience. However, the HVAC system was a bit of a drawback, as it was difficult to find a comfortable temperature. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable. Also, there are lots of dining options."
