"I stayed here for two nights after completing the Tokyo Marathon, I could not have chosen a better place to rest, recover and indulge myself. Logistics of getting Care from Tokyo via the romance car ti Hakone, then the opposite platform for the local train ..then 50 paces from the local train station to the hotel shuttle bus, which runs every 20 minutes Could not have been more convenient. The breakfast is out of this world with Weston and Japanese options and dinner was sublime."

"This hotel is worth every dollar. Although a little high up in the mountain with not much to walk to around it, it was definitely worth staying there. Very welcoming and warm you feel right at home. The spa facility was very nice and cozy. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel which was delicious and highly recommended by locals for the wood fire oven. We walked to a small sushi restaurant as well right by the hotel for lunch and it was surprinsingly very good! We had bad weather and only stayed 1 night but it was very enjoyable. The rooms we booked were amazing, so spacious, with views and private onsens. I definitely recommend it. Staff was very nice and helped a lot with transportation and other questions"

"Best hotel I have ever stayed in, whole property was extremely clean and quiet, staff were lovely and polite, and everything about the room was incredible -- the size, the tasteful and extremely modern design, the huge TV, the super clean and spacious toilets. Breakfast buffet spread was limited but everything was quite good and I really enjoyed the food. Would definitely come back and recommend to everyone I know! "
