"Arrived mid morning on 29th March, well before check in time, to request if we could leave our bags with reception until we were able to check in. To my surprise the reception manager went to see if there was a room available, which there was, and allowed us to check in early and leave our bags in the room. This was exceptional service which we very much appreciated"

"We payed a great price to stay, room was very clean and tidy. Lady at reception was great. I would have preferred a restaurant or choice however the restaurant isn’t open every night but it does have a kebab option outside the pub. I would recommend it. The pub behind though was great atmosphere Wednesday evening but a little dodgier Thursday night. "

"We stayed at Coogee Sand Hotel for a week in March 2025. We loved our stay, the hotel is in good condition, our room had a small kitchen and outdoor patio. Added bonus was laundry on site. The location is perfect, across the street from Coogee Beach, with lots of restaurant and pub options, grocery store, and easy public transit to go to attractions in Sydney. "The property was clean and tidy, room was nicely painted and comfortable, staff nice however a single room is very basic accommodation. Not advised of any access to any facilities for a simple cup of coffee or refrigeratoration available makes this location very low for me on value for money. Anything more than 80 bucks a night for a single here at this location is too much, i feel better value in staying at a backpackers."

"We ordered a cooked meal in the room at night and it was prompt, well-priced, and very nice. The motel is older but well kept and for us very convenient and as expected at the price. We have stayed here several times."
