"This place is a 3 story building with mini apartments that allow you to cook for yourself. Plenty of roomand amenities in the apartments. The only downside was the host, unless it's a (Japanese/Kyoto thing that I don't understand). He was quite grumpy and didn't seem to want to either interact with us, or even be there at all. This is reflected by the interesting staffing hours of the reception and check-in instructions. A minor mark, otherwise, very good. "

"This small hotel is perfect in every way. The room was surprisingly spacious relative to Japanese rooms, and the fall foliage from our balcony was lovely.
