"Loved everything about our stay at Cardeal Suites!!! The one bedroom apartment was amazing and comfortable. There were beautiful common spaces. Location was good. "We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next...

"A great place and excellent base for getting to know the Algarve. The apartment has everything you would need, excellently equipped and with plenty of space. It's close to the beach and the other facilities in the Pedras del Rei complex but just minutes away from the motorway or the railway line, within walking distance of the great restaurants in Santa Luzia. It comes with excellent information from Carlos to get you orientated and with suggestions to try out. We were able to settle in quickly,...

"Well located. Safe neighborhood. Good size apartment. Nice grounds. All basic needs provided. The apartment could use a little refurbishing, issue with the electric window shutter , bathroom toilets need updating…but mostly suited our needs. Didn’t use the pool, but looked impeccably clean. Very quiet this time of year."

"The property was wonderful in all aspects: quiet, spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished. It had all the necessary appliances. It is conveniently located in beautiful Quinta do Lago. I hope to come back sometime in the future and I have no hesitation in recommending this property."

Faro was an interesting city for a 15-day stay. Transportation to nearby communities by train and Uber supported enjoyable side trips. "

"Room not ready for check in time and staff refused to resolve. Had to wait with children for some time before staff agreed to give us a different room so we could check in. Other than that inflexibility and inconvenience, our stay was great. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Would stay again."

"A great find. Only 500m from airport so walkable (though we did have a car). Free parking on site and breakfast included in cost of room. Room was very clean with a great shower. Good breakfast selection in clean and tidy breakfast room. Clean swimming pool (didn’t use as February) if you have children with you. Next door was good restaurant that served Indian, Portuguese, Chinese and Pizza/Pasta so covered all the bases. A great hotel if you have an early flight or late arrival (as we did). We used as a base to explore Faro and Tavira. Also free wi-fi. "
