"Exceptionally beautiful and well-run hotel. We stayed in a self-catering villa and it's certainly the best hotel we've stayed at for these rates per night (and preferable to having bed and breakfast at a lesser hotel). Fantastic beach and location. The only negative being the rather rusty and dated equipment in the gym. Overall, highly recommended."

"We stayed here for 4 nights and our stay was great. The staff on reception were so friendly and helpful and greeted us every time with a smile and hello as we were on the same floor. The staff at breakfast and at the bar were also friendly and welcoming. Our room was great with a balcony over looking the pool. The spa treatments were great and value for money was amazing. "Absolutely lovely stay. Marina view rooms are beautiful. Staff are so friendly, breakfast is incredible with so much choice of hot and cold, bed is maybe a little harder than Ilike but that's life. "

"Had a lovely stay as a couple at Dom Jose. The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a standard room which was quite small but sufficient. Breakfast was very nice. The restaurant over looks the promenade and sea which is a lovely setting to enjoy breakfast in. There is a lovely terrace where you can sit and enjoy a drink and take in the lovely views or watch the sunset. "Lovely large comfortable rooms with good technology, great Bluetooth speaker and large shower. Gym was simple but effective and indoor spa had small heated dip pool, sauna and steam room along with 4 types of shower! Outdoor rooftop waterfall pool was larger with plenty of chairs and areas to relax in the sunshine. "

"Very nice hotel. We visited in late November so enjoyed lying by the outdoor pool but swimming inside! Big indoor pool and sauna. Did one of the classes which was good, and played tennis. Broad range of food. House wines were ok and not expensive. Bed was enormous. Only issue was air con was on heating mode and we were too hot, even with it off. Slept with door open. "

"The hotel and staff were quite lovely during our stay. Unfortunately, we went during the low season and I definitely do not recommend doing that. There wasn't much to do in the surrounding area but that isn't really the hotel's fault. The one thing I will say that was not satisfactory at the property was the breakfast.
