"We had a nice stay at the hotel. There was a boil water warning because of Helene but we weren't concerned with that. The restaurant served some great food and the staff was very nice. The rooms were cleaned and stocked! "

"We stayed at the Haywood Park Hotel two days before Hurricane Helene's destructive path caused catastrophic damage to lovely Asheville. Our stay was wonderful. Our room (more like an apartment!) was incredible. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was equipped with all the amenities one could desire, and the living area was spacious and nicely furnished. The whimsical touches reflecting the hotel's previous life as a department store made one appreciate the building's history. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We especially loved the check in champagne!! Wishing the good people of Asheville good health, safety and a full recovery. "
