"We returned to The President because it ticks most of our boxes. It's comfortable, clean, good service, good breakfast and the location is great for our needs. Just round the corner from Russell Square tube station and some nice places to eat. It makes a great base to explore London. There is still some building work going on at the back of the hotel which can cause some noise but only through the day when you're likely to be up and about. This was the same as last years stay. "Another great stay, staff are super friendly, hotel is clean and comfortable with good amenities in the room (kettle, hairdryer, toiletries etc.) Great location being a few minutes from Euston and easily walkable to major attractions. London is a busy city so rooms facing the main road can have some traffic’s noise (which doesn’t bother me). No individual hearing control in room so was a little warm but just opened the window! "

"Excellent location just a short way from Kings Cross. The City Sleeper rooms have a new, fresh, very clean feel, with all usual amenities (shower/hair, tea/coffee etc). Would highly recommend breakfast which was a buffet with a good selection of alternatives. To summarise, an absolutely great value London hotel. "

Great hotel close to the station!

"Can’t fault the hotel, clean, cosy, a great reception with seating and free hot drinks machine for guests. The room was on the small side and the bed isn’t the comfiest, but it’s fine for a short stay. Ideal 5 min walk from Kings X/St Pancras. 30 min walk to Oxford Circus. Luggage storage at £3 per guest. "

"This was an impromptu trip to London for my wife, son and I. The staff at the Clermont were fantastic and the hotel was great. The location was convenient to get around London. We were within walking distance of Buckingham, Westminster and Parliament. If we needed to take the Underground, the Victoria, Central and District lines were right there. The hotel has an entrance from Victoria station if needed. The walk to Piccadilly and Leicester is easy, so getting around is simple. Maybe not a ton of places to eat out nearby, but the restaurant in the hotel is good and there are a few places nearby that are good to eat. We kept going back to the Gail’s Bakery on Buckingham Palace road for breakfast, but the English Rose around the corner was cute and good too. Would definitely stay here again if we’re back in London. "
