"Great location, loved the chairs to be used to get into and out of the pool and hot tub. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Be sure to eat at Dollies pub. Great food at a great price."

"I liked that the property location was all on the same street as some places to eat, shopping, beach, and at the beach which was located right across the street had a little playground for my kids to play. The property had a beautiful view, very breezy, room and living room was very cool, very wholesome property."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papakea. Very upscale decor and the bed was so comfy. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed including a magnified makeup mirror! The view was awesome, with lots of lounge chairs poolside as well as by the ocean. We were within walking distance to a grocery store, shopping and restaurants. "

In a quiet part of Honokowai where you just hear the sounds of the ocean at night. Convenient walking distance to the new Pau bakery across from the beach park. You can relax on the beach right behind the unit. Owners are attentive, caring and communicate promptly. We hope to return again..."

"We stayed at the Westin Nanea for a week and then stayed three days at Papakea Resort. All 5 of us preferred the laid back atmosphere at Papakea and the fact that it was so much smaller. Absolutely beautiful grounds and we loved sitting on the chairs at the edge of the ocean with no sand!!"
