"The whole reason I picked this spot was that I didn't want the hassle of going into a hotel. You need to tip the valet, wait for your car, walk through the lobby, etc etc The hotel/resort tries to make it hard to leave but that is what you want to do. Otherwise instead of visiting the area your only visiting the resort. "This place is a real gem! Private deck overlooking the sea where whales are jumping, the waves crash into the pool and the landscaping is breathtaking. the pool is warm the closet hid a bed and there were tvs in the master bedroom and the living/dining room area. the dishwasher was dirty inside and some of the plates were not cleaned well but the views and quiet and ease of access to downtown and sight seeing was worth a few seconds of dish scrubbing.
