"Really unique secluded log cabin in the rainforest. We enjoyed a sunrise walk out to Waipi'o overlook and walking around the gulch trails on property. The Owl theme and art was incredible. Frogs are loud but the host leaves ear plugs which is really thoughtful. Totally recommend starting here. Mahalo!"

"Lovely cottage separate from the owners house but on the same lot. Great views of the ocean and sunrise. Well equipped kitchenette for self-catering as there are not many restaurants near by, however there is a grocery store in the next town over. Nice to hear the frogs at night, was very soothlng. Morning will bring sounds of cockerels so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. There is a fairly soft double mattress and a say bed, making this a perfect getaway for a couple. "

"Fantastic home and property right on the King's Trail! So many lush, tropical plants and trees surrounding a beautiful home. Truly a magical experience. My family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. The trail to the beach is one of the most beautiful hikes on the Island. Kristi and Sukumar are very gracious hosts and very easy to communicate with. 10/10 will definitely come and stay again!"

"Staying in the Waipio Valley is a magical experience and Kristi and Sukumar's cottage is the perfect place to do it. We used the small kitchenette to cook meals each night, hiked, did trail runs, walked to the black sand beach and viewed the epic waterfalls. It was incredible and we can't wait to come back."

"A stunning and beautiful situation and location. The hosts Garrett and Kaia were so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. They made suggestions as to sights to see and good places to eat, going so far as to even picking up a meal for us. There was plenty of room at this location for all of our family and each member had their own room. Out grand children greatly enjoyed the animal life both domestic and wild. "Our stay was absolutely perfect. Noelani thought of everything and was always available. The home had everything we needed. The view is incredible. The yard, the pool, slide, hot tub… We rode horses for a couple of days at Kahua Ranch, traveled mauka to makai on UTVs, and chilled at the house the rest of the time. We loved the birds, the frogs, and the mongoose. It was an excellent visit and we will definitely be booking Waipio Heaven again. "
