"My husband and I stayed here years ago for our anniversary and loved it so much, we came back! We brought our family and some friends and their kids. It was a great set up for all of us. And lovely location! Breathtaking views of the valley and the ability to easily get to the quaint town of Honoka’a. We specifically chose this location so we could have a central spot to come back to after exploring parts of the northern area of the island. Highly recommend! "

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (46)
"We have been to the Big Island many times and staying Waipio Gardens was one of the best trips we've ever had there. It is a beautiful property that provided serenity, great hiking and amazing beach time. The house is nestled in the jungle in the valley with gorgeous plants, fruit trees, lots of birds and even wild horses. We picked and enjoyed fresh oranges, grapefruit and papaya. The hosts, Sukumar and Kristi, were very helpful in the planning of the trip as well as ferrying us to and from the...

"This was our second stay at this beautiful property. We stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute! We had everything we needed at this lovely home. We loved the hot tub especially in the evening when we could star gaze! The sky was beautiful! We were a short drive to Honokaa and played several rounds of golf at the unique golf course (Hamakua country club). Overall, we had the most wonderful time and are planning on returning next year! Mahalo! "
