"The rooms could use a little upgrade. There should be more chairs in the shade for free. All the good chairs are reserved. You shouldn’t have to pay for a shaded seat. For the cost of the room, you should get snorkel equipment for more than one hour. Other than that, I loved the property. Staff was excellent and the dining was great too. "

"Fairmont Gold at Kona is an an outstanding venue. People are trained, courteous and efficient. The price-value relationship is a winner. Comment, the beautiful tile floor in the shower was so slick neither my wife nor I dared use the shower. We are both healthy by the way, wanted to stay that way. A simple synthetic shower mat would be all that would have been needed. "

"We arrive around 9:30pm, everywhere pitch black, but the house felt warm and welcoming, right away. After the sunrise we definitely appreciated the views of the house, the grounds and generosity of the owners, regarding the fruits of their orchard, all were great.
