"After Hurricane Helene, our Vrbo was destroyed along with the town of Chimney Rock, NC. We scrambled to find something with the amenities we were used to (mountains, hot tub, views, river, fireplace). This place filled the bill. Beautiful property with direct access to the Chattahoochee and hiking. Close to Helen, GA for shopping, dining and waterfalls. The only negative that we found was that the beds were super firm. May want to bring your own pillow topper."

"We really enjoyed our stay . The cabin was very nice and clean . Wish there was stairs inside the cabin to the bottom floor . You have to walk outside to go from top to bottom of the cabin . "

"Beautiful home and well appointed. The river view is just great with the sound of water sitting on the balcony. Great trip for our family of 15. Everyone enjoyed the stay and area. "

"Our adult children and their plus ones enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this river cabin. It was very well stocked and we were able to easily cook a huge traditional Thanksgiving meal. We loved the fireplace, fire pit and screened porch. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. "

"We stayed here during August with four adults and four kids. We were very comfortable in this modern house with very nice furnishings. The AC was excellent. The house is perfectly situated, with a huge yard leading to the lake. There is an awesome firepit in the backyard, and we roasted marshmallows and made smores, the kids loved it. We took out the paddleboat, and enjoyed the lake. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would mention that there are plenty of insects around, and while they didn't...

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Once again everything was wonderful. Hardy is so easy to communicate with and makes sure that you have everything you need for your stay. Our dogs love the huge, fenced-in yard, and the location is great- very quiet. We come to Toccoa to visit family, and look to stay in this property every time. Thanks again!"

The view of the lake is breathtaking, and each morning feels like a postcard come to life. The entire house is comfortable and relaxing, with thoughtful touches in every corner. "The home was great! Easy check in and check out. Great supplies for cooking and cleaning up. Beds were very nice and comfortable. Bathroom was nice with plenty of room, great tub/shower, and very nice washer/dryer. Temperature easy to control with huge tv and nice propane fireplace. The road in is gravel, our front wheel drive did fine. Nice and peaceful. "

"Our stay at Dock Holliday turned out to be a much-needed escape after our home was severely damaged by Hurricane Helene. The property’s name, a clever nod to Doc Holliday, the legendary figure from Georgia, hints at the kind of rugged charm and character you can expect. Though I’m not a movie buff, I couldn’t help but appreciate the connection to history and adventure, and this place certainly lives up to that spirit.
