"Nice room with a good location. Very clean and great staff. Nice perk that they offered movies for free in English on the TV. Rooms are pretty tight though. May be problematic if you have a lot of luggage."

"A standard business hotel located about 500m South of Toyama Station in the drinking district. In Japan, drinking districts are perfectly safe. No street noise could be heard from my room. Room was standard size for the hotel type. Breakfast is free and filling."

There is busy night life in the neighbourhood which may feel dodgy to walk solo at night but Japan is a very safe country as a whole. Rooms are small but clean. We booked separate rooms for each of us and the prices were very reasonable. The rooms were newly refurbished and very clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Public parking was available within a short walk. All in all, a comfortable quick stop on a road...

"It was very close to the castle park and had a number of options for dining nearby, though we walked a bit further out to go to some specific places. The breakfast was in the building next door one of the days with a great view of the whole city. That hotel seemed a bit more luxury, but the room in ours was comfortable and spacious, so no complaints. "

"Excellent location and value! Right next to the castle and Kenroku-en, the hotel couldn't be better situated for seeing the sights of Kanazawa. Really unique style and rooms. We booked a junior suite, which due to the layout with the divider in the middle wasn't as spacious or practical as we were expecting, but for the value we got it for, no complaints at all (we're only two people, so in future would probably not have booked a junior suite again). For a one or two night stay to see the sights...
