"Country Inn Canadian House exceeded our expectations; it is classy and down to earth. Masao and Yasuko are fabulous hosts. Meals were nutritious and delicious. All rooms/facilities were comfortable and clean. Masao provided shuttles to and from town, the slopes, and the train station. We would definitely stay there again. "

"I booked this hotel mainly for its airport shuttle. Even though there’s only one to the airport in the morning, they went above and beyond to help and accommodate me. The room was massive and provided absolutely lovely views. I do have tattoos so they had to be covered when entering the bath. The building is old and smells of moisture, which I think comes with running an onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. "

"Beautiful area and lots of parking available. No dining options except in the hotel. Very large room with everything you would need but looked like it was in the middle of an update at some stage. "
