The whole ambiance of the hotel was so relaxing, and honestly, the staff made it even better. They were so kind and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. It felt like a little oasis right in the heart of London. I’d definitely stay here again!"

The only issues was at the reception when arriving. Was told you need to have a British passport that my guest wouldn’t be let in because he was from a different country. felt uncomfortable that I had to explain myself to the lady as she said she will refuse him coming in. this could be a problem if...

"I always stay at The Standard when in London. Every staff member I’ve met has been lovely and helpful. Friends often meet me there for drinks because the bars and restaurants have some of the best atmosphere in London. Rooms are always clean and well appointed. It’s very conveniently located as Kings X itself is full of amazing shops and restaurants but it’s also the best connected stations in London for public transport. If you’re lucky your room will come with a gorgeous view of St Pancras...
