"This is an older hotel and building, and the entryway and corridors to the rooms have a municipal feel to them (until you walk through the interior doors to the small hallways leading to the actual rooms). However, the room was large and clean, well-furnished, and the beds very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly. The location simply cannot be beaten. "Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay but the bread wasn’t always fresh. The room attendant didn’t always provide clean towels but hung the used ones back up if they weren’t dirty. The room attendant didn’t always provide new toilet rolls even when there were none left. The safe didn’t have instructions in English and after making the reception aware, nothing happened. I found it difficult to get to sleep as the trams ran right outside my bedroom window.
