"Our family liked this little stone cottage though we didn’t realize how cramped we would feel. It’s probably a better fit for a couple. The setting on the lake is nice and would probably be fun in the summer. For a rainy fall weekend, there was little to do (no games, puzzles, internet, tv wouldn’t work w/o service, no bikes or fire pit as advertised). We made the best of it but found ourselves bored in the remote location. "

"The location was ideal for our summer family summer, we were looking primarily for something within driving distance to many attractions. Grocery store was a short trip out of town. The AC is not central air, there was one mini split in the living room and fans in the basement and top floor bedrooms. Luckily we stayed during a rainy week, so it was sufficient for our stay. The bedrooms were a little confusing in the listing, there are 2 bedrooms in the basement and open room with a trundle bed....

"The house was beautiful and made for a great place for us to spend time with family. Open concept and huge kitchen was perfect for our family dinner nights. We loved it!"

"We had a short stay in mid October to observe foliage in NH. House is very very clean. Worked out well for teens to be separated form adults on the lower level that has garden acsess and a tub. House has 6 passes for free access to Sports facilities with several swimming pools, jacuzzi a well equipped gym, play room, tennis courts, basketball courts - plenty of things to do to relax and stay active in between other things NH has to offer. "

"I grew up coming up to this lake. My family owned a small log cabin across the cove. It is heart warming to know that there are still a handfull of cozy, knotty-pine paneled cabins here like the one I grew up in. This place was completely charming — big stone fireplace, beamed ceilings with skylights, large deck overlooking the water, lots of windows for natural light. "I love how quiet it is. The place itself is a bit run down. Fridge had full of left over old food and dirty pan. Stove is just not usable but we didn’t have to bake anything. We did enjoy staying there. "

"The house was perfect for our football weekend at Plymouth State U. Slept 8 of us very comfortably. Kitchen and living space were exactly what we needed. "

"The location is awesome, right on the river. Having the firepit was perfect. Although we brought our own wood, having the option to purchase wood right on site is a bonus. The Treehouse was cozy but very clean. We would stay here again in a minute and have already told many of our friends about this place. Thanks for a great stay! "
