"This property exceeded my expectations! The condo itself is cozy, well maintained, and very clean. We *thought* we had an issue with the toilet (false alarm) and Geralyn had someone there to take a look within 20 minutes. Everyone is so friendly and helpful-such a pleasure! The pool is well maintained, warm, and inviting! However-as mentioned in another’s review-you will catch a whiff of septic every now and again. It’s not from the pool or pool restrooms. "This property is a gem. Pictures do not do the place justice. The location is great and felt safe, very walkable to many good restaurants and supermarkets. My kids really enjoyed the pool. Joshua the host was very responsive and helped us book a tour and allowed for an earlier check in! Would happily stay here again if we are back in town. For those travelling with younger kids, the apartment does get a lot of light, and they woke up at 6 every day."

"We spent a month in Costa Rica and ended our trip with one week in Manuel Antonio. The property was clean and we really appreciated the daily housekeeping. Our host Yosue was very welcoming and helpful in booking our activities, taxis and dinner reservations. My only negative is that the condo is located off a busy road, which I didn’t realize when booking. "We had an amazing time at this property! There were howler monkeys playing in the trees while we swam at the pool and toucans flew overhead while iguanas slithered by us on the path. It is a bit difficult to find but they were prompt at communicating with us. The pool could stand to be resurfaced but it is clean and works just fine. The space in the condo was great for our family of 5 and we loved having a kitchen and washer and dryer."

"Our 3 night stay at Elan was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Its location was perfectly situated for tranquility, privacy and peacefulness. We enjoying coffee on the terrace every morning as we watched the birds and monkeys play around. The only disappointing part about our stay is that we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer."

"The place is isolated, and very dark,felt scared at night. It is not mentioned that it is only a few meters away from a main highway and trucks are constant 24/7 drowning out any of the peaceful sounds we were hoping for and making it difficult to sleep. The apartment was probably lovely once but it is tired and not maintained very well. I note that the building is for sale and that would account for this. We are in our 70s so unsuitable for us."
