"This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Had a room in a new part of the hotel (260) .. very clean and spacious with a large and comfortable bed. Straightforward aircon/heat management, which warmed the room up well as needed. Excellent breakfast. Could not fault any member of staff ... service was excellent. "

Only minor point was that there were a couple of little decorative tired bits around the edges like the net curtain had a tear for example... But it was nothing so big as to take the shine off our stay. Would return absolutely and would highly recommend."

Great that the staff will pick up your luggage from the station on arrival and it was in our room when we arrived. Afternoon tea was wonderful and we loved the pantry and record player in our room.
