"We saw a beautiful room here on hotels.com. Although the room we were given was much smaller than the pictures depicted, it was still a great experience. We were within walking distance from anything that we wanted to do in the area. I would have liked to be able to stay in the large room we were shown, but the people were great and the owners were VERY sweet people and their dog Fenn in the office! "

"The property was just a couple blocks from the beach so it was an easy walk to get to enjoy the sunrise on the beach. There was no elevator so we got to get a little workout getting our bags up to the third floor balcony walk up. The rooms glass doors where covered with wide louvers for privacy, but it seemed that if someone wanted to look in the could have due to the gapping and the angle towards the bed. The room seemed in good repair although the toilet required a determined hold to get it to flush fully. The fridge and microwave made for easy storage and reheating of some leftovers for breakfast. The outdoor pool though open and "heated" was quite chilly but they were going to be closing it for the winter the day after we left so maybe it already had the heater turned off. The hot tub was very nice, but it was right next to the front office desk, presumably to keep it for only guests of the motel. The parking lot was under the motel (it was the first floor primarily.) Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. "

"Vintage 1960s updated motel. Great location next to the state park. You can see the sand dunes from the parking lot, a 2 minute walk to the beach and no street to cross. My room had been updated with new floors, bed and bathroom. Check in with Gary was fast and efficient. We were able to check in at 1:00 and were able to park at the site several hours earlier than that to enjoy more beach time. There’s a Chinese restaurant, Brew House and Farm to Table restaurant that you can see from the Mari-Anne and are at most a 1/10 of a mile away. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was quiet all night. If you’re looking for a clean affordable place, that’s close to the beach and only five minute walk from all the action at the main beach then this is the place for you"

"Came up her for a concert and girls weekend. Wasnt expecting much of this motel but it beyond exceeded expectations. Staff was lovely, our room was a good size and set up nicely. For an older beach motel it was well maintained and very clean. Will definitely return. "
