"Great service from all the staff. Breakfast is fresh and cooked to order plenty of options The restaurant and bar although as little quiet during my stay seemed to have a good atmosphere, open fifes and cosy seating. "

"Great proper English pub dog friendly. All the staff are helpful and friendly the room we were in ticked all the boxes . We stayed for 2 nights clean towels on second day . Traditional pub with good rooms . Went into Chichester which was about 20min drive great day out beautiful Cathedral. We will going back to the fox goes free ."

"Having had a 3 hour drive down, we were greeted with a smile and two delightful rooms. Crisp linen and a smile. Food was fabulous (try the scotch eggs). Beer was good and the conversation was great. Will come back when visiting family. Fully booked for Sunday lunch so make sure you book if coming to stay. Judging by the 3 courses we had well worth booking"

"It was our third visit to the Jolly Drover and we have always returned because the beds and bedding are so comfy and the accommodation is simple but well maintained. We have stayed in different rooms and this time were in room 6. Everything was fine until we got into bed. The mattress was so awful that you could feel the slats on the bed. I nearly fell out on one occasion. It was a horrible night and very sad because we were exhausted after a long drive from Wales and settling a family member...

"I arrived a few hours early, but my room was available immediately. A lovely room with modern bathroom. I was in the single, which served my needs very well. Well heated. No problem with noise. Very close to train station. Godalming is a beautiful town."
