"We had an excellent lunchtime meal at the restaurant then went out for the rest of the day. Arrived back to our rooms around 11pm for the night. Some of the lights didn’t work and the bedroom and bathroom were somewhat dated and in need of refurbishment. The bed was very comfy though. We had to change our arrangements and the Reception staff were extremely helpful, understanding and nothing was too much trouble. "Clean hotel, communal areas are lovely and breakfast is great. Our room was not as I’d expected. It was small and was worn with chips in furniture and cold! I asked for extra bedding and this was provided, I was also offered a heater for the room as the radiator was not working. I can’t see how the room could have been described as delux double as it was an attic room and the sloping walls meant a mirror couldn’t be hung above the sink so shaving was difficult. "
