"We booked and paid for 8 nights in advance but stayed for just 4 nights and found a better place in Grand World. Closer to the beach. The property managers were nice and helpful but not very generous with giving us a refund for the days we didn’t stay. We found the area poor in the choices of restaurants and stores. The restaurants only open after 11am in the mornings, surprising for a tourist oriented area. But that was consistent even in other areas of Phu Quoc. "

"Love this old Sino Portuguese property in Old Town. Love d it. The area is butane, amazing food options, amazing building, and street parking is easier than it seems, if you find the reason to have a car. Car actually đặt around unused for a day. No worries about moving it, etc."

"Hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep in. Bathroom is crammed in so you have to stand over the toilet to shower. Water doesn’t drain properly so every time you use the toilet you have to walk through a puddle. Sheets and towels were clean, although you do have to pay a deposit to get a towel at all. Air conditioning was good. "

"택시로 공항에서 15분정도거리 에위치 외관은 옛날시골 집처럼괞찮음 방도괞찬고 그런데 샤워할려고 수도꼭지를 돌리는순간 흙탕물이 나옴 그래서 2~30분 틀어놓으니 맑은 물이나와서 샤워를 할수있었다. 위치는 도로옆이고 주변에 식당들은 많았다. 주변야경은 인터넷에서 본거와 생판다름 별로다. 아침식사는 쌀국수인데 맛이없다"

"Family business run by lovely hosts. There is a couple that runs the hotel and they are very attentive and polite. They offered me Christmas dinner on Christmas eve and the young son of the owener, which the hotel is named after, gave Christmas cards to all the guests which I thought was a lovely touch. Breakfast is very decent. If you like to be a bit more tacked away from the city but still not too far, I would definately reccomend this place. The mum is such a character, doesn't speak a word...

"Accommodation was clean and basic - great if all you care about is the beach (which we did). However, the staff did not speak English and in addition they were absent most of the time during our 6 night stay. Shower was cold most of the time but again after a hot day on the beach not so much of a bad thing."

"The place and stay were beautiful! The only thing that I didn’t like was that there were insects everywhere, I was reaching for coffee that’s provided with the room and there was an ant trail going up the wall then when I came home I found lizard under my clothes that I set by the sink. If small insects bother you I would pass on this place but if you can deal then this is a nice stay"
