Lady running it was lovely when I got there and recommended an amazing Ssambap place which I managed to find with a bit of an exploration! Rooms are clean, spacious and very comfy."

"I came here in December and stayed for a significant portion of December. The staff here are nice and friendly, the communal area is kept clean and is in good shape. The communal bathrooms are likewise cleaned daily. They also do a Christmas party at the hostel if you're there during Christmas like I was. Walking distance to a JR station as well as the Hibiya line. An hours walk to Tokyo Sky Tree. Overall a very nice experience! Thank you!"

It's an old hotel, if you are looking for a fancy/new/clean one, then move on. If you are looking for a not expensive and very convenient one, then that is it."

The room itself is quite basic but has everything you could need, it is quite small but it does the job! I definitely recommend coming here as the location is perfect you gave many shops around and you are right next to myeongdong street."

"The only good thing about this place is its location near bus stops and in the centre of Dongdaemun. But everything else is pretty bad. The room is tiny with no closets to hang clothes, and if you have suitcases, there's hardly any room to move around. The shower situation is weird because there's just a hose and you have to shower in the same space as the toilet, so everything (including your towels) gets wet.
