"Elegant and refined restoration of fine historic architecture. Our first room had no window which was disconcerting but staff assisted in an upgraded room. Beautiful breakfast at additional modest charge. No bar or other food service. Lack of English speaking staff was cumbersome. Spa like pool not suitable for real swimming and no fitness center (yet). This is a very recent srart up that I trust will much improve with time and experience."

"Top floor room #43 only had windows which were placed high up in a corner so although you got light entering the room, you had no view or ability to open them for fresh air. Luckily there was an AC unit. Room was big but furniture laid out strange. Staff were all very nice and helpful. "

"The room is listed as 1.7 km from center. What's not said is it's up a VERY steep mountain. That made it sometimes unwalkable. We're walkers, but had a back problem. We did walk down one day, but not the Google Maps route which requires multiple long up-down stairways. They clean with some god-awful toxic-smelling stuff that caused me respiratory problems. The Hotels.com price listed is significantly lower than what I was actually charged with somewhat hidden fees etc. so beware of that. ...
