"In my experience , this Super 8 doesn't deserve the poor reviews. For my stay, everything was fine. The room and bathroom were clean, everything worked, and it was very quiet. "I would not recommend this hotel. Pictures are not accurate of the rooms. There was barely any furniture in the room, I got a suite. Towels were dirty, blood stain on lamp shade and ceiling. A very right part of town to stay in, I didn’t feel very safe at all. Front desk staff seemed to be high on something and check in took too long. Staff not dressed professionally. You get what you pay for, I was very disappointed - avoid if you can. "

"Remote, secluded, quiet, well-equipped, comfortable, rustic... creative use of a former tobacco barn has everything you need to relax in setting that is both beautiful and serene. I wish I had stayed long enough and in a better season to make use of the nearby opportunities to enjoy the nature and scenery that surrounds. The deck overlooks and provides access to a deep bend of the placid Nolichucky river just down the hill. Shop and dine before you leave town... Greeneville is about 30 minutes...
