"This is a great location - may be the closest spot to stay on the way to the park that includes the beach. Accommodations are simple, but the price is right. We stayed here with 6 adults. The pull-out bed downstairs was cracked in the middle so the mattress sagged. I told the host about it after we left and he said he had a guy who would fix the bed."

"The best thing I can say is the beds were very comfortable very quiet neighborhood at night. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Purple Door. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. My husband taught my daughter to fish and she loved the dock area. We did use the amenities at Captain’s Cove and drove out to Assateague Island to see the horses. The location is tucked away from major attractions but we got used to the drive after the first day. The neighbors were friendly. Enjoyed our stay !"

"Yurt-ques unique house! Nicely decorated and fully stocked. Perfect place to fish and crab off the dock. Furnishing was perfect inside and out! We didn’t leverage but what a cool canoe! Love the patio lights which allowed us to fish/crab at night. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, this is the perfect place for you. One side note, you should plan to get food for the week unless you want to go into town (30 mins) for food which we did every day. Wasn’t a big deal for us since most of...

"We stay here often. The property is very convenient to the entrance to the Chincoteague Refuge. Many restaurants are close by too. The rooms are large and decorated nicely as well as extremely clean and well-maintained. Check-in is easy and staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is brought to your room and fresh coffee is near the registration office. "
