All the rooms have a view of the water and one can spend hours just staring at the waterways, waiting and watching as birds come and go only interrupted by the passing small hunting/fishing boat. "My car was hit in the parking lot. There was no note left and while this is not directly the responsibility of the property management, it would have perhaps not have happened if there were lights around the property making vehicles more visible. Also, the pool is disgusting. I believe the pool surface just needs repainting but it looks gross and made me question its cleanliness. The pool was a big factor in renting here and then to not be comfortable in using it was a big turn-off."

"My husband and I rented the condo for a week. The place is quite spacious. It was very clean. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was pretty well stocked with anything we could have needed. The sunset from the back porch was nothing short of phenomenal! We watched a few coast guard training drills in the channel while relaxing on the back deck. We will definitely recommend this condo as a premier place to stay on the island."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Purple Door. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. My husband taught my daughter to fish and she loved the dock area. We did use the amenities at Captain’s Cove and drove out to Assateague Island to see the horses. The location is tucked away from major attractions but we got used to the drive after the first day. The neighbors were friendly. Enjoyed our stay !"
