Stayed here last year around the same time of year. My room this year wasn't quite as clean. Considering that there was no one in the hotel they kind of gave us a crappy room. I don't know if it was close to the elevator or what but I kept hearing thumping in the middle of the night and it was mechanical thumping. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast and instead we got two $15 certificates to access what amounted to some fruit, some cereal, some breakfast bars,and some juice/coffee. All of which was way overpriced. We found a dirty towel folded up in the bathroom, the toilet paper roll holder was hanging off the wall, and the fan didn't work although it made a strange humming sound. I also don't appreciate that I have to pay a resort fee and a property fee in the offseason. That said the staff was friendly and attentive just don't know if I'll come back.

The staff was very nice, the hotel room was clean, and it was a big bonus they had a balcony that overlooked the pool (which was great too). An overall great stay for a weekend trip.

I stayed here twice. The first time was a much better experience which is why I booked again for the following weekend. The second time, my room smelled like a locker room, had ants all around the TV - fridge area, the shower had quite a few long hairs on the walls and tub. In addition, there was a herd of elephants staying above me. They could use a dehumidifier as well - my clothes felt damp just after 1 night. Staff was fine but not very accommodating.

The property was within walking distance to the downtown shopping and a block up from the carnival. You can get rooms that overlook the bayside perfect for sunset. The rooms were nice and the staff were friendly.

Very nice hotel. Needed to stay one night since we decided to arrive early to the island. They give you a credit for the cafe for breakfast but it was only cereals, fruits and microwaveable sandwiches. We had expected something a little more than that. Otherwise nice place to stay!

I will say that when we booked on Expedia it said complimentary breakfast (we only book hotels with complimentary breakfast). When we checked in, we were told that Expedia was wrong and there was NO complimentary breakfast. They explained to us that Expedia was wrong and they had to call them multiple times to fix it. When I called Expedia, they told me that I was wrong and it was never complimentary breakfast. I have had nothing but problems with Expedia! How do they have NO documentation that their website had complimentary breakfast for this hotel? Terrible!!!…and they wouldn’t compensate me at all!!!!
