"The hotel is really nicely decorated, very kind staff at the front desk and a good location. When I entered my room it was like the Sahara desert, the heating was on full whack so it was a bit of a shock, assuming that was unintended but I managed to turn it off and the temp reduced. Unfortunately I was in a room that the window faced into a corridor so I couldn't really open the curtains but this didn't really worry me as I wasn't in the room much. "Hotel is due a refurb we were told and it certainly needs it. On the outside fantastic looking building. Inside very grand but is unloved and unkept for a long time it seems. Very dirty, surface clean only, piles of dust by bed, windows large cobwebs, wallpaper looks as old as the house. Most staff very good."
