The common spaces were spacious allowing eight of us to easily come together in the comfortable abundant seating in the main living space and around the dining table. The four bedrooms all contained comfortable warm bedding and mattresses with an extra private room for one of us. "We loved our 2-night stay. We especially loved that each person in our group had their own bedroom (and bathroom). The house is beautifully designed with comfortable beds and couches. The living/dining room has gorgeous massive ceilings. We also loved the huge dining table for meals/games, etc. The aesthetic throughout the house was right up the alley of our group. "This is a really well designed and maintained property (considering the flood plane can occasionally bring water up to the street level) right on the river. "The drive in and out of the property will amaze from the start! The property is wonderfully situated a top a quiet and peaceful Sonoma mountain with fantastic views in all directions. The house is beautifully architected and great for a large group, including the guest house. Game room, hot tub, chef’s kitchen and fire places made for an excellent stay. Kenwood Winery was our fave right near the house. Host was excellent with any questions we had. Our group was super pleased! "

"We stayed here with another couple, and it was a great choice. It is located in downtown Calistoga right in the middle of stores, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms. We choose one of the cottages out by the pool, and were not disappointed. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom. We did have our own outdoor patio and hot tub. We were served coffee at our room in the morning, plus a few pastries. Check-in was fast, and the staff was always friendly. From the outside, the hotel looks a bit rustic and older, however the inside is pretty modern. There are 2 bars on either side of the lobby that are separated. The back outdoor area is very large with a nice heated pool, and hot tub. Plenty of seating around the area. And off to the side there is a small outdoor theatre. We will be back!"

"We loved the view & the great hot tub especially! The rooms were very comfy…I’m not crazy about espresso, but I’m sure some enjoyed the espresso machine. Nice to have a beverage fridge too. We were able to take advantage on Thurs of Wine & Cheese night! That was great. "

I would definitely stay there again.

" Very clear and easy access to the rooms. All room access is indoor. We only stayed one night and we just slept there and got up in the morning and left. Beds were comfortable. There are things very close by to get something to eat. There was a Target, Dollar tree CVS and a lot of other options within 5 minutes away. Applebees is right across the road 2 minutes away. Very nice place and it was quiet. The cost was not bad at all for the service given. "
