"What a tucked-away gem! Golden Haven was unlike any place we’ve stayed before. While the second-floor rooms were a bit underwhelming, it hardly mattered since we spent most of our time enjoying the incredible amenities. The spa experience, especially the signature mud bath, was truly unique and unforgettable. The property also offers a great pool, hot tub, fire pits, and bikes for guests to enjoy. Set just off the main drag of Calistoga, it’s peaceful yet easily walkable to downtown and all the wonderful shops, restaurants, and bars. We had a fantastic stay!"

"The Motor Lodge got taken over by Hyatt a while back and the change has been all to the good. The grounds are nicely taken care of, everything is clean, and the pools are excellent. Bonus points for pour-over coffee gear in the room. "

"Excellent location. Cute lobby. Spacious rooms. Would definitely stay again! I found this gem to host a girls spa trip for my best friend and I. We were so happy to arrive to our hotel, where there was parking right in the front and the front desk attendant was ready to check us in as swiftly as we arrived. We got into our room at the Carriage house and fell in love with our little patio and room. It’s also important to note this hotel is located a quick walk from a bar and an even closer walk to a cafe. Whether you need a drink after dinner or a coffee in the morning, you are a hop, skip, and jump away! We had an amazing stay and would definitely come again. "
