"Very easy weekend. The house was very clean, all the things you need, towels, linens, hand soap, sponges, utensils, pots, pans, etc. They hand just enough games to keep the kids entertained and plenty of TVs. Beds were very comfortable and the furniture was too. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to Sunapee, which was easy. Thank you so much! "

"I love this place - the only issue was the heater in the room would not regulate - it was a steady 79 degrees no matter how much we tried to lower the thermostat. We followed instructions but we could not lower it"

"We stay at the Brook Wood Inn when visiting family in nearby Unity. This was our 2nd stay at the Inn and it is very relaxing place to stay. The common areas and kitchen is great, we always make our own breakfast and have a nice cup of coffee together each morning :)"

"You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. "

"Didn't like that no staff was available or reachable! Power out - no response. Check-in problems - no staff or response. Coffee maker quit - nobody to help us or to inform on site in the moment Reservations were a mess due to "responses" from Expedia (our booking service), VRBO, and "Hosteeva" - the last 2 of which we never used! Who is in charge and why are they not there? The system sucks."

"Stayed in the winter, place got a bit cold (it does not have central heat). Wasn’t a lighter or enough firewood for our stay but the host brought a lighter and more wood. Beautiful pond in the back and the location is good, with easy access to the highway. Neighbors were close by, we were asked to turn off the outdoor light because it was shining into their house. Cottage was clean. There are security cameras outside. Overall it is a cozy place to stay in a good area. "

"Great living space with a beautiful view of the lake. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Easy ride to Mount Sunapee for a ski day. The kids had a blast playing in the snow in the back yard. The fireplace was great and kept us nice and cozy during the winter storm!"

"We loved our stay at Weathersfield Inn! When we arrived, the owner greeted us and personally showed us to our room. The Inn itself is beautiful and quaint and all of the staff were extremely kind. We will definitely stay here again!"
