"Nice clean place. The heat in our room was hard to control. We set the thermostat to 65 and the room went to 76 at night. Too warm for a comfortable night's sleep. We were there in the Inn by ourselves and were very comfortable in the common areas. The kitchen is well equipped. Could have used one TV in the common area. We would stay there again."

"I love this place - the only issue was the heater in the room would not regulate - it was a steady 79 degrees no matter how much we tried to lower the thermostat. We followed instructions but we could not lower it"

"We stay at the Brook Wood Inn when visiting family in nearby Unity. This was our 2nd stay at the Inn and it is very relaxing place to stay. The common areas and kitchen is great, we always make our own breakfast and have a nice cup of coffee together each morning :)"

"You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. "

"Didn't like that no staff was available or reachable! Power out - no response. Check-in problems - no staff or response. Coffee maker quit - nobody to help us or to inform on site in the moment Reservations were a mess due to "responses" from Expedia (our booking service), VRBO, and "Hosteeva" - the last 2 of which we never used! Who is in charge and why are they not there? The system sucks."

"Perfect! We absolutely loved the light filled living area overlooking the lake. The fireplace and swing chair were favorites. The hosts were very generous in providing firewood and use of the lockable garage to store our ice fishing gear at night. "The Sugar River Treehouse is thoughtfully designed providing all the amenities needed. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to experience a unique setting with our two dogs. We plan on returning in the summer to enjoy the benefits of the Sugar River. "

"This place was a pleasant surprise. Newly renovated with Scandinavian design themes, it had a great lounge/common area with games & a fireplace to relax in, plus 24hr coffee service. Easy Walk to the pub nextdoor for dinner. Pool was clean. Little hill behind it was perfect for sledding. Shuttle bus pick up to ski Sunapee (which is literally across the street)."

Literally no need to leave the house for the entire time! It was an amazing family getaway!!"

"This is a very comfortable place with a great fireplace an awesome kitchen and a very cool vibe. While I rated the staff and Service excellent to be completely honest, I didn’t see any staff. The communication I had from the folks running the facility was spot on, so will call that great service! What made it even nicer was on this particular stay there were awesome people staying there which made for great camaraderie. I would go back!"
