We had a great stay- the kitchen was wonderful to cook in- we loved the gas stove- bacon tasted so delicious with croissants in the morning! "Lovely classic home; feels nostalgic old, but isn't actually old. Plenty of space indoors and out for 6+ people. Kids loved the bunk beds. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood and only 15 minutes from Lake Sunapee, harbor, Mount Sunapee."

"Fairly new house on the pond. Little sand beach. Canoe, paddle board and kayaks (need new/more paddles). Spacious. Large, well appointed and supplied modern kitchen. Nice master suite. Only one bathroom on ground floor for 3 bedrooms. Plenty of bench seating on deck facing lake, but could use use some chairs with cushions. "

"The charming home is very remote and private. Updated kitchen and bathroom providing all amenities you could want. Comfortable beds, but master is very tall. Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching. "The Story Homestead was a wonderful place to stay for our family's autumn getaway to NH. We loved exploring the surrounding countryside, which was ablaze with fall colors. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing family meals, and the spacious bedrooms ensured everyone had a comfortable stay. A truly memorable experience - highly recommended!"

"Great location and house! Right on the water with a dock for your boat, with a boat launch down the street. Lots of beds and the game room is awesome. Keep in mind there is no AC, so it gets really hot at night. They have 4 box fans but you may want to bring one from home. No dishwasher but they have everything you need, but I would bring disposable supplies. The host was great and very responsive. Definitely recommend this place! We stayed over the Fourth of July and the location was perfect....

"We loved this house! It has plenty of space to hang out together and lots of little spots to get away if you want. The kitchen is beautiful and has a deck off it with a beautiful view. You can see the water from there. The hot tub was great and it’s in a nice private spot behind the house. We used the fire pit a couple of times. Also a great experience. We kayaked across the street. There’s a rail trail also across the street and bikes. I was able to bike for miles. The house is a little creaky...
