"The lodge is cozy and nicely updated. Beautiful woodwork. The staff was friendly. Beds and room comfortable and spacious. The grounds are beautiful and the old growth trees amazing. The only not so good part was that the hot tub was not working while we were there, which is what my teenage son really looks forward to about vacations. It would have been nice to know it would be closed."

"Overall my fiancé and I loved this place! I will say the photos are quite different then what it currently looks like. There are no longer the bunk beds, we didn’t have access to the bikes also but this wasn’t a big deal. We loved how close this was to the beach, and how homey it felt. "This home is well-appointed and has a good layout and location. Our busy family with dogs had plenty of room and enough bedrooms for all. The housekeeping before our visit was less than great in that the hot tub was quite dirty and had no chlorine added (someone came by to clean it out but by then we had missed 5 opportunities we had counted on).
